Hi, I thought I should stop lurking and introduce myself

I am, as the name suggests, a chubby mum of three children (5yrs, 3 yrs and 7 months old) and currently I am 20kg heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight with my FIRST child, I have gained and gained rather than lost after each pregnancy.

I could blame pregnancy for my weight gain but sadly I am no stranger to being overweight having been large/obese/thin/'normal'/scarily thin since childhood. I come from a long line of morbidly obese women. My most frightening realization is that I am turning into my mother.

My three year old is a little girl and a legacy of being obese is not what I want to give to her! So here I am ready to conquer the demons and chub for myself and for my little girl so she grow up and witness a happy mum.

Congrats on your decision to live a healthier lifestyle for both yourself and your daughter whom you know is watching you as her role model! As for the weight tracker, it's been so long ago that I added it, I can't remember how I did it. I do know it's a part of your profile signature. Maybe somebody else on here can help you with that. I just looked, and for the tracker, click on User CP in the bar running across the top of the page, and then on the left menu, click edit signature. You will see instructions for adding a tracker. Oh wait, good, someone sent you a link on it.

I think you can add tracker after a certain number of posts or after a few weeks of posting, I can not remember.... So jump in and start participating! Glad to have you here!

hi, I'm Jenny from Texas and ChubbyMum, what you said is so true for me too, I have a 3 year-old daughter too and I want to be a fit and healthy mom for her, and for my two boys too - they really do need a mom with alot of energy!

I'm taking weight loss supplements and working out as well as eating right and I feel so much better after a month already, down from 263 to 252 in about 4 weeks.

I'd love to hear how everyone is getting on!
