Hi all!
I am just joining up in a new attempt to actually REACH my goal weight/shape. Many times I have lost most of it only to get discouraged and give up. I am around 147 now and my goal is 120.
I am going in with renewed vigour tomorrow morning, with a mostly raw, mostly vegan, higher protein diet. I have been mostly raw all year but eating waaay too much fruit and just too much generally, as well as not enough protein to build any muscle. Which means I am puffy and round rather than lean, even though I exercise regularly.
My fitness plan is a 45 minute jog 6 times a week, and a full-body weight circuit 3 times a week. I also go to Iyengar yoga twice a week. I am aiming to eat 1,500 calories a day, 55% healthy carbs (mostly veg & some fruit), 30% protein and 15% good fats. Also to up my water intake to 3 L a day. I want to be at my goal in 6 months...February 2014.
I need this, to feel really good about myself finally. Thanks for being here for me to declare my intentions, and for support through the journey to come.
