I have used this site as a resource before but never thought to register before now. I have struggled with my weight for most of my life but didn't really do anything about it until I hit 310 back in 2008. I started Atkins and lost 90lbs in about 8 months. Unfortunately I got comfortable and ballooned up to 250 in 6 months. In 2011 I had an accident at work that resulted in extensive knee surgery, at the time I was 326lbs. I swore I was going to lose weight and get fit during my healing process since I was going to PT regularly. Then I found out I was pregnant. I was able to not gain any weight while pregnant (which was preferable with my OB).
Now my little one is almost a year and ready to be weaned. I started last week at 320lbs. This time I will lose the weight, I will maintain my healthy lifestyle, and I will have a healthy relationship. I have to for the sake of my little girl.
I am hoping being on here will help me stay strong and change my attitude about food. Not to mention encourage others to make the changes they need to
