Newbie from Iowa
I was very happy to find this forum. Forums is what helped me quit smoking over 4 years ago,and are a great source of support and information. I have been a yo-yo dieter most of my life. This journey has been difficult for me. This time last year,I was wearing a size 8,and am now wearing a size 16,a year later. I had lost over 50 lbs.,5 years ago,and kept it off over 5 years. I never thought I would be in this boat again.I went through a long period of depression,which led to emotional eating and inactivity. I joined WW with a friend and have lost 14 lbs. in 5 weeks. I want to lose 40 more. Seems more difficult,as I am older. But,and very determined. Great to be here!
