I don't believe in being addicted to eating, either... BUT I DO firmly believe there are addictive substances in the vast majority of processed foods in the grocery stores! Since I have changed to mostly fruits and veggies... very few processed foods and then only with (as Michael Pollan says) five or fewer ingredients, it is unreal how my cravings have diminished!
