Default Back after a few months and a 15 lb regain.

Hi everyone!! I hope that y'all are all doing well. I had to stop doing Atkins a couple of months ago due to kidney pain and promptly regained 15 pounds of the 26 that I had lost while on Atkins. My doctor urged me not to restart Atkins, so I am back to calorie counting with my goal being mostly whole foods and daily count of 1500-1800. My exercise options are limited due to a foot injury so I mostly ride my bike and will be starting Tai Chi soon. Happy to be back!

Hey there, welcome back! I didn't remember your name, but I recognize your picture. I'm sorry Atkins caused you kidney problems- I can't do Atkins for a similar reason. Good luck with the calorie counting!

Thanks penmage I have a history of kidney stones and the extreme diuretic effect and excess fat/protein was another issue. My name is Tiffany. What plan are you following?
