Hello. I am ready to loose this weight. I am at my heaviest now at 265. I need to do something. I recently saw a picture of myself and was shocked. I think of myself as maybe not think but not that big. I know I have had to buy bigger and bigger pants.

My goal is to loose 105 lbs to get my BMI down to normal level. 160lbs is my goal
for the next year. Hopefully it will take less than a year but that is my goal.

My plan right now is to count calories and keep my intake under 1500 c/day. If this does not work I might try weight watchers. My biggest hurdle will be exercise. I hate to exercise but know that is the way to loosing this weight. It will also make me feel better. I will have to find motivation to exercise from somewhere.

I did weight watchers, and other than being more active in general, i really didn't exercise the first 17 months I was on it. 2 months ago I joined a gym and go every day. I absolutely love it. I realize I can do more than I thought I would be able to. Plus I'm gaining "my vanity muscles" (biceps, triceps, lats, pectorals) back as my trainer puts it.

You can do it. You've taken the first step by admitting you need to.
