Hi everyone! This forum has been super helpful and motivational, time for me to emerge from the shadows and introduce myself! My name is Stephanie, I am 35 years old and my son is almost 2 years old and I am the same size I was right after giving birth still!

I have decided rather than being depressed about it and talking about it, to do something about it. It has been...interesting...feeling like my sexuality is gone and I am just a Mom blob. Don't get me wrong, I love my son to death, becoming a Mother was the best decision I have ever made, but there needs to be a balance between being his Mom and being the woman I want to be.

So anyway, HI everyone, you are all my motivation. I have 35 lbs to lose and am determined to get it done! Thanks for being inspirational!

Moms tend to "lose themselves" while taking care of the husband, the children, the pets, the home, etc. I know there are a lot of parents who can relate with you, including me.

Just take time for you and your health and your family will benefit from it.

Good morning fellow IPers! My name is Dana and I am new to IP. I actually started Monday. Today is Day 3 for me. So far so good. I did get a severe migraine last night but I am feeling much better. I am so excited to meet new people on here and look forward to motivating one another. I am a single mom of a 2 and 4 year old. I have gained 40 pounds in 4 years and desperately want to get rid of it all! I am nervous about this first week of IP. Which day have you found to be the hardest so far?
