Good evening everyone,
I've been lurking on this site for several months and decided to finally dip my foot into the shallow end of the pool.
As my title says, I have seen my after picture. (something the personal trainer at the gym said to me) How do you ask? Well here's a little of my history:
I was not an overweight kid but my parents never instilled in us proper eating habits. Seconds? sure.... Fried Chicken? go for it...
Anyway, fast forward to my 20's and early 30's and I saw my weight balloon out of control. At my heaviest, I weighed 252 pounds standing at 5'4" (size 20). 252 pounds...my before picture
I made the decision to have gastric bypass in 2005 and lost 101 pounds. In the last few years I have gained a significant amount of that weight back due to poor choices again - grazing, alcohol, no exercise.
150 pounds...my after picture!
So now full circle, yes, I have seen my after picture and remember how happy I was at 150 pounds and wearing a size 8, sometimes 6 off the rack at regular stores.
Well enough about me, let's get this party started.
