Smile Waking Up

Hello everyone. I have stumbled upon this forum quite a few times over the years. Those were times when I was in denial of my ever increasing weight and somehow convinced myself that one day I'd magically become skinny. Delusion being a powerful thing and all.

Well, I was finally woken by reality after seeing my office's Christmas party photos. I did the cliche thing and made a New Year's resolution to lose all this unhealthy weight and keep it off. However, I intend to stick with it for the sake of my health. I eliminated processed sugars, white breads, white pasta, white rices, high sugar fruits, etc while adding in a lot of leafy greens and other fruits to my diet. However, I recently decided that I needed faster results and to limit myself more, because I have over 100 lbs to lose. So, I'm currently on the first phase of Atkins, Induction.

I've decided to join 3FC, because it seems like a friendly supportive place to be. I hope we will keep each other motivated and become friends along our weight loss and maintenance journeys.
