Wink New :P

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here.... stumbled on the site about a week ago, and amazed at what I've seen so far... I especially love the "goal" thread - so inspiring.

My weight has fluctuated a lot in the past 4-5 years, and I haven't seemed to be able to find any one thing that works. I am most definitely an emotional eater, and it's something I'm working on. I started again to work on fixing my bad habits January 15th and so far have gone from 186 pounds to 178, so not bad. I'm 5"8 and figure that a healthy weight would be somewhere around 150 pounds. I like to exercise so I just want to be healthy and feel good in a bathing suit.

Anyway, I'm hoping that I"ll be able to gain some insight here, it looks like there are a lot of places to check out so I have lots of reading to do! I'm the self-sabotage type of girl... as soon as I start to see any results I tend to go out and eat the first sugary/carb thing I can find... I'm hoping I can fix that problem and reach my goals finally!

Cheers,
Sarah

10lbs in 15 days is amazing! Looks like you have a solid food and exercise plan in place and it is really working for you.
Best of luck to you!

Sarah, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join!
