Hi everyone!
I just joined the site and wanted to introduce myself!
My name is Allison and I am 23 years old, and live in Ontario Canada. I will have been married for 3 years on Feb 14, and have a busy 2yr old son named Daemyn.
Over a 4 year span of time, I gained 80lbs and went from a 7 to a 20. For a long time I blamed this all on getting lazy and having too much stress.
Last year I found out that part of my problem is worsened by insulin resistance and polycystic ovarian syndrome. The good news was that by losing weight, eating right, removing the sugar and exercising a lot of it can be controlled.
My starting weight was a whopping 250 lbs.
I am now 225lbs and have a goal weight of 160.
I am eating a low carb, moderate protein and moderate fat diet. I am staying away from sugar and eating lots of veggies!
I can always use advice on diet and exercise as well as support. Looking forward to exploring this site and losing weight!
