Default Newbie thatīs needin to lose some booty!

Hey guys,

I am a Amry wife, living abroad with a deployed husband. He is gone another 5.5 months and I promised him and myself I would be a more awesome version of myself when he returned. Last week I weighed in at 175lbs. I have struggled with my weight all my life, due to mostly emotional things. Food basically is my best friend and I love her dearly. But our relationship is costing me, basically my life. My DH and I would love to have kids, but you see I am fat, and like a lot of fat woman I have PCOS with insulin resistance. I have been through a ton of fertility treatments icluding; pills, shots, and 2 failed IVFīs. My Dr. says I need to get all the lard of my bones and keep it off if I want a shot at my dream of becoming a mother.

So here I am. Showing all of myself to you all praying I can finally beat this addiction that has been holding me down and preventing me from achieving my dreams.

My goal is to be130-135 by July and maintaining. I am um ĻtryingĻto eat right and exercising, but like most people I have those days where the hill just seems darn right impossible, so I sit down and sulk into a choclate cake as I gorge it down. But, then I get back up and do my P90X. (Gosh, this sounds bad, but its true)

I am really hoping to get involved on here with other woman that are going through the same struggles I am.

Heres hopin to looking hot in a bikini this summer!!

Hello!

Glad you're here!! sorry to hear about the difficulty in getting pregnant. But, I hear those stories all the time where someone loses weight and BAM, there you have it.

You will get all kinds of support here. For the last 5 years I wanted to lose weight, but was never 'serious'. I thought I was, but it hit me at the beginning of January and I was 100% super motivated and still am. You need to dig deep in your soul, find your will power (you really have it) and be consistent with your diet and exercise. Come this July, you're gonna be smokin' hotter with a bikini on at the airport, waiting for your hubby to arrive. hee hee

welcome!!

I totally get the back and forth business. I'll do well for 2 or 3 days then get off the wagon when I get tired. But hey, just think though about all the new lingerie you will be able to buy when your husband gets home
Maybe getting on this forum will motivate all of us!

Welcome!

I'm also a military wife (Navy) and I lost 33 lbs while my husband was deployed last year. Too bad I'm up 8 since he came home in July! Seeing the look on his face when he saw me at the homecoming was a huge motivator.

I'm sorry to hear of your fertility struggles. I hope that losing weight does the trick!
