Default New poster, not as new member :)
I have been lurking for a little while and finally have decided after realizing how much weight I've gained over the past year and a half that it was time to get serious. I have enjoyed reading other people's success stories and goals being obtained and I think i'm ready to get serious about my own success story and goals. So, I am 37 a mom and a new grandma and I'm pretty sure that my boyfriend has helped me gain almost 30 pounds in a year and a half. lol But just wanted to say hi and I look forward to hearing about not only everyone else's successes but my own as well I just signed up for a gym membership with my best friend and her boyfriend and we started the biggest loser competition at work. So, lots to be motivated towards. lol

Pearl, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the 30-somethings.
