Hello everyone! I have been reading this forum for almost a year soaking up information but never was ready to join. I have since started my weight loss journey on December 30, 2011 at 250 lbs. My goal weight right now is 140 lbs. My plan of action is to eat healthy and exercise. I have lost 2 lbs so far and am absolutely committed to long term success. I WILL NOT die fat and unhealthy! Reading this forum is such an inspiration to me and will be one of my new daily habits! Good luck to everyone!

Mamalicious, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join!
Thank you so much! I joined the group for people who have 100 or more pounds to lose. I am part of a family full of skinny folks so I often feel like no one understands what Im going through. Now I dont feel so alone.
