needtolose2012, I weighed myself this morning, and so far this week I have lost 4 pounds. I don't know how many calories you need to take in every day to lose. But I am eating around 1500/day. It is working for me. I sure hope you can lose this year also.
meetzer, I am trying to increase my protein and lower my carbs as well.
I have added an egg or 2 to my daily diet. And I made a big pot of bean soup so I can eat a bowl of that every day too...for the protein in the beans.
It might take you a few months to lose your weight if you have a plan like mine. I lose around a pound a week. I lost a lot of water weight this week. So I lost 4 pounds this week.
Cinlo, It took me a looong time to start my dieting too. But we are here now.
And we will lose this weight...one pound at a time. If we stick to our plans, by the end of this year we should all be down quite a few pounds ... and look and feel better.
