Nipper from NYC here for the first time. I am 55 Irish with a great sense of humor , which is needed to exist in a city like this. Anyway, just got back from a cruise and while I was on this cruise ,it was captains night and I checked out everyone's gown and then I looked at my self and thought I look like a float in the Macy's Parade. I was then talking to this guy on the ship and he said, "You hae a great sense of humor and fun to talk to but the weight is an issue!" I said," so dont look at me while we are talking!" Ok he's a jerk but I do need to take better care of my self . Anyone else from NYC, check in,sign Nipper

I forgot to add in I weight 210 pounds and I am 5 foot 8. My boyfriend loves me like you wouldnt believe. But really when he stands next to me ,I look like the linebacker and he looks like the ballerina. Nip

Hey; Germany!
I have three close friends that are not as tall as I am and they tell me what they go thru. One is 5 foot even and she tells me that when she gains five pounds it's like twenty for me. Ouch! My boyfriend's Italian and he can eat anything and to top it off he can really cook. I throw a tweenkie on a plate and call it a day! Now tonight I have to cook today! I am sweating bulits. My best friend and also an Irish woman, Joli made BBQ ribs in a frying pan for her boyfriend. I said " Did they turn out". She said that there are 36000 restaurants in this city! My guess is they didnt. In New York we call it the menu drawer. Nip

Small world! I 'm from Omaha, Nebraska and moved to NYC twenty years ago. I just took my boyfriend home for a week to see my home town and his first comment was, where are the people! and then followed with, we are accually parking in a driveway. He loved that! I introduced him to the Runza which is a sandwich and the Cheese Frenchie. Num! Nip

Greetings. Last year in March,

I was in Macys at Heald Square and I decided that I was going to take off my size 22 black long wool coat and hang it up on a rack and walk away never needing that coat again. I'll loose the weight! and buy a new one in a size 16! Well, one year later, great idea but its almost November and no coat. I did in that year gave up soda. Mc Donalds and fast food and went from 275 lb down to 210lb. Now I am in a size 18. But really that is one of the many crazy things I have done. anyone else have a crazy story? Nip
