I cannot believe I have been a member since 2005 and have never said hello!
I am a happy lurker you could say and this site has given me huge amounts of inspiration and encouragement over the years, so I am now back again to see if I can pick up where I left off the last time on this journey to get healthy!
I'm doing a version of slimming world based on the magazines I have and info on the internet as I can't get to the meetings, but I'm seriously considering joining online to answer all my various syn questions! I'm also trying to walk 40 mins about 3 or 4 times a week to begin with (thus the avatar!), and hopefully the activity will grow as I go along.
I am doing this for me, to feel healthy again, to feel good about myself, and, heck, to be able to wear pretty clothes! But mostly I'm doing it for my little girl, so that I can be the fun and active mummy that she deserves to have.
