Hello everyone,
My name is Robyn and I have struggled with weight all my life. I have never been small so it is really hard for me to envision myself at what I would like to weigh. I love to cook and love to eat. Come from a family of eaters

and all our happiest times were centered around food. My ex used to joke that mine was the only family who would be eating a meal and planning what we were gonna have at the next one. Anyway, I am just sick and tired of being sick and tired. I have been on too many "diets" to count but after some deep soul searching and some crying and whining, I have accepted that I must make a way of life/eating change permanently. So I hope to make a bunch of new friends here who are are this journey too. Thank you.

you're not alone in this, it's possible, sure u know that, just take it one day at a time. it's not a staight road but in the long run you'll get the results you want and they'll be worth it. You'll begin to feel better after a few days. And try to stay away from the 'diet' mentality and consider this a lifestyle change for good, so that even when you're feeling low you dont quit! Hello, Ive been doing this a month now and already feeling the benefits!
You can do it we all can and whenever you feel unmotivated just look at the goal pictures for other members before and after. It always helps me makes you think they have done it whats stoping me.

You're absolutely right. We have to make sustainable changes. Those types of changes are going to be different for everyone, but they'll add up to losing weight and being healthier.

I know what you mean about your family! It seems that my dad and sister are always planning their next meal! =P But welcome to 3FC! I hope you remember that you can still enjoy food - just eat smarter!
