Default Hello, Introducing myself here...

Hello, I'm Tami and I have decided to start the weight watchers core program to lose 34lb. I was a WW member six years ago and actually made "Lifetime Member". At that time I had only 12lb to lose to reach the goal, and I lost the weight on the flex plan.

I gained back more than twice that amount over the last 6 years and I really want to turn it back around. I know what I need to do, I just need to do it.

I have heard plenty of people say it gets harder to lose weight after you turn 40 but I didn't know how true it was.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting folks with similar goals.

There are people here who did it after 40! Don't get discouraged! Welcome to the board and good for you! You did it once I have no doubt you can do it again. And everyone here is so motivating, it's very helpful to keep you on track!

Hi Tami - Welcome! I am 56 yo, post menopausal, type 2 diabetic that has lost 82 pounds. My weight does not come off as fast as it used to, but it does come off eventually if I stay on my plan and be kind to myself. You can do it!

welcome! I am new too! Losing weight at times is challenging but you know you can do it. Set goals then create a plan to get there. I always say slow and steady wins the weight loss race
