Hi there,
My name is Jessica, I am currently 28 years old (i'll be 29 july 4) and I am overweight. I weight gain began 2 years ago when my life was a true roller coaster. I had lost my job, all funds, my roommate moved out and left me with a 3 bdrm apartment, and to put the icing on the cake my brand new car got stolen from in front of my apartment. After my world come falling down on me- food become my comfort. Doughnuts, cereal, pop tarts; you name it. My hypothyroidism was becoming unmanageable bc I had no healthcare. So I ate and ate. Since then I have gained 25 pds. Last week I was 185.
Money has been very tight but finally I rejoined my CKO kickboxing class and I bought Jackie Warner’s “this is why you are fat” Book.
Since then, I’m done to 181~ and its crunch time because my birthday is 4 weeks away.
Wish me luck, and I look forward to riding this journey with all of you.
