Newbie
My name is Trish. I'm a homeschooling mom of 7. 3 of my kids have special needs.
After the birth of my twins (3 1/2 years ago) I was finally getting back to a good place with my weight when the diagnoses started...despite nursing twins, I gained 50 pounds in just a few months at the words "Cerebral Palsy" and another 25 for "Asperger's".
Between being a wife, mom, homeschooling my kids and making it to 9 therapy appts a week (plus who knows how many dr's visits) and being a children's pastor, I've neglected to take care of myself for too long.
On my 33rd birthday ago I put my foot down and decided it was time to take my life back. A month ago today I weighed 310. Today I weigh 285. I exercise like a mad woman and try not to eat too much or for the wrong reasons.
