Welcome to 3FC, TMark! I'm in Montgomery County, MD.
I wish I had some magic beans... I spent many years wishing for them, but they never appeared!
I just read a post by one of the moderators here, and it rang so true. She said that motivation can get you started, but that motivation lags with time... and then it's committment that will keep you going. I started off in January with a strong motivator, but that's no longer what's keeping me on this journey. I have become absolutely committed to losing this weight, to getting healthier and fitter and stronger. Feeling and seeing the changes in my body over the last 3 months and knowing it's all due to the consistent effort I have put it... the pride I feel in myself for having stuck with this is addicting, and there's no way I'll let go of what I've earned.
I agree that it will help to find a routine you like and can stick to. You CAN lose the weight; you've already proved it to yourself with your loss with WW. Now you just need to commit to sticking with the weight loss.
A quote that I've read several times around this site, and always find very motivating: "Being fat is hard. Losing weight is hard. Pick your hard."
I wish you the best of luck on your journey, and I hope we continue to see you around here!!
