Hello. I have been poking around here for a couple of weeks...and finally decided to join. I figure this might be the place for me. I think one of the reasons I have failed so many attempts at weight loss is I have never reached out for help or support. So here I am . :-)
I am a 30 year old, single mom. I have one daughter who will be 12 in a few weeks. I am 5'3" and currently weigh 202. Before having my daughter, I was about 110...but then again that was when I was 17! I am just looking to shed my extra pounds while also getting healthy again. I am thinking that my end goal will be 135. I am giving Atkins a try...we will see how long I can stay away from pasta and bread! My two biggest weaknesses!
Welcome, Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.
