New Member from VA!
Hi everybody! I just joined this community and thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself. My name is Danielle and i'm from Danville, VA. I have always struggled with my weight and ive tried several diets. What usually happens is that i would lose about 10 pounds then quit. About 9 weeks ago I jumped on my bathroom scale and i was completely shocked. I was a few pounds shy of 300! After that I joined a local gym and now im down to 275. This journey is very difficult and seems to be an emotional rollercoaster! I try to hit the gym whenever i can, which is difficult since i work around 50 hours a week. However, i know there are no excuses and I go anyway. I love my gym and have a great support system.
The reason I joined this community is because I would like to hear other's stories about their weight loss. I'm very open for advice because there are a lot of things that i do not know. I spend a lot of time researching but it's good to hear from others who are going through the same thing. I'm tired of being the "fat" friend and enduring painful shopping trips with my skinny friends lol. This time i am in it to win it! No more giving up for me!
