Default Need a friend / partner

I'm looking for a weight loss partner / friend that can help motivate me and hold me accountable. I am 225 lbs right now (5'8") and my goal weight is 145ish. I'm not in a hurry but am motivated to be healthy. I've been able to lose weight in the past but I can never keep the weight off. I always go back to my old ways. Can anyone help me along the way? I'm looking for someone to discuss our daily successes and challenges, motivate eachother and exchange advice about working out, eating healthy and easy quick recipes. Thanks in advance and I can't wait to get started on 3FC!

Thanks so much. I want to eat lower calorie foods (under 1500 a day) and eat lean meats such as chicken, turkey and fish while increasing my fruits and veggies.

For exercise, I am aiming to start with a half hour of cardio 5 days a week and increase that and add weight lifting. Right now, I'm just doing my bike in the basement for a half hour each day or doing an aerobics tape for 50 minutes. I do want to increase my strength and endurance.

We are on the same page!!

We can motivate each other, I don't really have any friends that want to lose weight so its hard being by myself and not having anyone to compare workouts and diets with!

I am semi-new (as weird as that may sound) ; I started a diet in September 2010 and lost 10 lbs but then LIFE happened and I gained it all back .. Now I am starting all over again.

How about you?
