Default Ready to have REAL support, no offense to my Wii Fit =)

Hi all! I am very eager to give and get support as the path to a healthier me continues!

In 2009, I had dropped a signifcant amount of weight for my wedding. I was on Alli, calorie counting and walking/running about 10 miles a day. My husband is in the military; that stress added to moving around a lot and changing jobs really got me off track.

This past June, I decided wanted to try to lose weight again, but I am doing it on a more realistic basis that fits me. I exercise by walking my dog and doing Wii fit. The Wii gives me something to be accountable to each day. I do not follow a diet plan; I do eat a lot more whole foods and lean meats. I do not like diet foods because of the preservatives. If I want dessert, I will have it, but a moderate portion. So far, I have lost 23 pounds.

I lost my job in December, and begin college next week-- eek!

I love recipes and am excited to try a few I have found on the boards =)

Welcome!

You are in very good company! Many 3FC-ers prefer whole natural foods. Let me see if I can find you a few links.
How about this?

I admire your ability to not diet and rely on portion control... I have to count, measure, and weigh my whole life out... or else.
