It's time to get serious! I've been over weight for the last 30 years and I'm going to lose this weight once and for all. I'm an older lady, I have high blood pressure. I don't want to go into my old age fat. I'm tired of talking about dieting to friends and family because I've failed and I know they don't take me seriously. I just want to DO IT and suprise them. I need your support and encouragement. I need to talk about this process so I plan to spend alot of time in the 100 plus forum.
I'm 5'8" and weigh 266. I've decided to try a 1,500 calorie plan with the good fats (olive oil), low sodium and lots of veggies and fruit. Is this too low? My treadmill died, but for exercise, I plan to use my Wii fit that has been collecting dust since last Christmas. When it warms up, I plan to get outdoors and walk.
