Hi everyone. New to the site so I just thought I'd do the introduction thing.
My name is Kim. I'm an army wife and mother to a very spirited four year old little girl. We currently live in Maryland, but I grew up in the south. My husband and I have been together for over 11 years now, married for 4. I've been overweight most of my life. I hit my high of 275 around Christmas of 2006. Since then I've fluctuated a lot. I've been as low as 237, but I generally hover around 250. I turn 27 in two days, and once again I've broken my promise to myself that "I'll be healthy and thin next year on my birthday."
My husband and I have decided that we really need to commit to a healthier lifestyle. For me to lose weight and get healthier, for him to lower his blood pressure and improve his overall health. If I'm going to try to make some big changes then I know I'm going to need all the support I can get. I hope to get to know some of you and share in your success as well as experience some of my own.
