hello chickies! redoubling effort on last 20lbs after 100+lbs loss :)
had been reading the board in the last few days and found it to be a great place for information and support! would love to meet some interesting folks along the way.
bit of background info about myself...
have been overweight since I was a small child and the weight issue became more out of control as i got older. by 7th grade I weighed 220lbs at 5'5. started college down about 180lbs, but within a couple years gained up to my highest of ~240lbs. in 2000 I started my new journey, a new mental approach to life, eating, my body. over the last 10 years I have mostly been ~160lbs. I could get rarely as high as 190 or rarely as low as 142.
for the last 18mo I have been the strongest and the thinnest of my life - about 145 and 28% body fat.
recently decided to redouble my efforts and would love some support and to support you right back!.
as of this am i weighed in at 138.4!
not entirely sure of my goal weight.
anyway, nice to meet everyone.
