Default Need a kick start

Hey everybody. So I've been a 3FC member for a bit, never been 'visually' active though. Mostly just read post and try to get inspiration. I do the roller coaster dieting and I need to stop. I just want to get healthy and stay healthy. I was wondering if you all could share what kick started you into you're diet, what worked, what didn't and how you maintained your diets through all the cravings, parties and holidays. Where did you find your strength when things were tough? Tips, diet 'secrets' or fun exercise ideas are so much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You will find all sorts of advice and tips on 3FC. My biggest tip is never give up even if you have a lapse.

For me, I am developing habits that are conducive to weight loss and good mental health (like gettting a lot of sleep and keeping toxic people out of my life).

Weight is lost 1 pound at a time so please try to be happy with every bit you lose. It adds up.

This is not always easy, but it is doable. Check the maintainers forum and you will discover a lot of people maintaining 100+ pound weight losses. They have a lot of collective wisdom.

Good luck.
