begining!
our country was “born” however many years ago tomorrow. maybe i can be “born” again too…
i used to be ok with my weight and was a stable size 5 through my sophomore year of college. then the weight gain began. today i stand at 5′ 5″ and 158lbs. i am in the “overweight” category of the BMI and am unhappy with my chub. i work a mildly active job that keeps me hopping from 7am to 10pm. it’s high high high stress (= high bad eating habits) and we go out to eat at a different ethnic restaurant every night (part of the job). my self control is lacking in many areas. i love food, i love cooking, and the creativity and cultural expression of food is beautiful! i need to balance these loves with health! i need support. i lost 8lbs last summer and just KNOW that i can do it again, but not without help. my goal is 145. if i could reach that by the end of september it would be beautiful. any comments would help. starting tomorrow i am going to start posting everything that i eat on my new blog. |
