Newbie to 3FC, but definitely not a newbie to weight loss.

  • Hello everyone! My name is Mint, and I'm a 20-year old college student living in Maryland. I feel like I've been losing weight and gaining it all back since high school, and I'm ready for this to be a permanent change.

That's why I decided to join 3FC; I'm looking for some accountability this time.

So far I've lost 10 or so pounds since mid-May (going from 186 to 176), and I hope to lose 26 more pounds to reach my (current) goal weight of 150. However, I always seem to get stuck around 160 when I lose weight, so I know I'm going to need some extra motivation to bust through when that time comes. I haven't seen 150 (the weight on my driver's license, hehe) since forever, which is why I picked that specific weight as my first goal.

Anyway, thanks for reading everyone. I look forward to striving towards our goals together!
  • Hi Mint and welcome to 3FC.

Congrats on your success and good luck with your goals.

    Hugs
    Michelle
  • I've been stuck in the 140s!
    Good luck.

Hi Mint, welcome. I am now where you started 185.6 (186) about to reach my first mini goal at 184lbs. I joined a 4th of July challenge. My next mini goal will be 10lbs less than what I am on 7/4. If you want we can be accountability buddies. I have joined a few forums to help keep me accountable, the support is here for us. Come on and join in. Best of luck to you and all of us in reaching our goals.
  • Welcome Mint!

  • Hi Mint, (that's a fantastic name, by the way)

    Good luck to you.
I'm so glad you're doing this now, at 20.
You have a wonderful life ahead of you. You're going to be able to live it in the body you want and in a healthier way.

    Congratulations.
