not really new but returning! lol

  • I haven't posted in so long that it feels awkward to join in again without a starter post of some sort.

I joined this site when I was 14-15 and posted until about 16. I now am 18 (getting old! ah) and I still have some struggles with my weight.

I'm definitely not as bad as before and I have definitely focused on other areas of my life so weight isn't as obsessive of a thing as it use to be. Still, I would like to get toned and in shape again. It's not like I look horrible but I started to lose weight and look good by running and working out but then senior year came and it was a very stressful time for me. I barely had any time to workout or take care of myself while trying to apply to colleges and focus on my grades and other senior activities like prom, graduating etc.

FINALLY that is all done and I am on summer. Only for a little while though! I am going away for college at the end of the month! I would like to lose a few pounds by then and then continue to workout a lot in college to avoid the freshmen 15 unless it means losing 15 pounds!

So this year has been pretty overwhelming for me. i still AM really overwhelm. I feel really confused as to who I am and scared at how much time has flown past me. Nonetheless, I am happy to be on here and talk about how I plan to continue to achieve a healthy weight for my body size. My ultimate goal is to just look good in a bikini! I never had before and it would be great to just have a flat stomach!

So that was unbearably long. But nice to see you guys!
  • Hi and welcome back!

    Good luck with your goals.

    Hugs

  • Thank you. same to you!
  • You're welcome and thanks
  • Congratulations on your graduation and your college future! It's an exciting time in your life. It's great that you are keeping your health goals in mind as well. Take your short summer to get started with some good habits that will help you in the future, such as always eating breakfast and not depending on fast food and pizza for your meals. When you get to college, maybe you can find some like-minded friends who would also like to keep off the Freshman 15.
And of course, 3FC is always a click away for support. Welcome back!
