Hey everyone! Just picked up the 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet book from my library. I'm hoping this will be the last time I need to pick up a "diet" book because I am so exhausted from trying to lose weight. I've always been overweight and since I turned 30 last year, its seems like I have developed every disease an obese woman can get and it has scared me. I can barely put on my socks and shoes and just a simple task of walking has me defeated. I don't know where to turn now......From what I have read so far in the book, this seems to be the place to start and hopefully this time finish. Wishing everyone the best success.
Good for you for making the decision to get heather! Just getting started can be the hardest thing to do, but once you start, and see positive changes, it really keeps you motivated! Look around this site and post often. We all look forward to getting to know you!
Welcome. Since Chicks can be overwhelming at first, I suggest you look for a support group or challenge to join; a small group of friends to help keep you motivated. Find one you like that fits your needs, or inspires you, and just post to join.
