I'm new!
Hey there!
My name is Bianca and I am 29 years old.
I currently weigh the most I ever have: 291 at 5'7"
My wake-up call has been two things: 1. I do not want to weigh 300lbs. No real reason, that number is just too high for me to ignore like I have been for so long. 2. I just got married and my husband and I want to have children in the next couple of years. I am terrified of pregnancy as it is, and I know being at a healthy weight would make the process easier.
I have tried fad diets in the past and they don't work for me. My goal is to lose about 130lbs by exercising and eating right. Eating well has been a real challenge since my husband rides his bike 16 miles a day so he can get away with eating nothing but junk food. My job is sedentary and I can't afford to eat like a little kid all day!
I joined a gym and since I live in the heart of Hollywood I thought I would be intimidated since the gym closest to me is the same one that all the beautiful actors and actresses go to. My first day I was sure everyone was looking at me... but then I realized everyone had their headphones on or they were playing with their cellphones. It's actually a pretty solitary experience, which at this point I prefer.
Ok, I'll stop before I write a book about it. Viewing this site as a non-member has been very motivating so I am excited to now be a member and share my journey with you!
