Hey everyone..I'm Jennifer a stay at home mom and a military wife. My husband and I have two daughters. After my first daughter was born I weighed 239. After my second daughter was born I weighed around the same. Three years later I weigh 208. I weighed 216 two weeks ago but since I started dieting and exercising I've lost 8 lbs. I had a problem with soda. I couldn't stop drinking it. I have not had a soda in 2 weeks so I'm proud of myself. =) My goal weight is 145.
Yay, I'm glad you joined! The soda is really hard to give up...I don't drink them anymore either, except for when I'm being bad lol. Welcome to 3FC...can't wait to hear of all your success in the near future...looks like you've already had some, 8 pounds!

Thanx..I've been drinking soda since I was maybe 5 or 6...that long ago lol so ya it is hard to give up...i've been using this program on my ipod called loseit..they calculate all my calories for the day so i dont go over and my exercises to tell me how many calories i burned. It is helping me alot..
I've only just started and I applaud you, it's so hard to give up carbonated beverages, which is what I'm attempting to do. Even though it has only been like 3 days I'm trying not to make too much of it, because I know if I really start thinking about it, I'll crave the bubbles. I have been giving up caffeine gradually since the start of the year until I now only drink decaf coffee and redbush tea. Mint green tea as well if I'm feeling particularly adventurous. So I wish you good luck on your weight loss goals. Look forward to seeing you around the forum.
