So glad you are back! I also have three kids and have found that I had to do major modification for food (dinners mostly). I told myself I would not cook two dinners and I don't.......lol. My family are also skinny minnies who do not NEED to eat like they should. So, I started thinking to myself, just because they have a fast metabolism does not mean that they shouldn't eat healthy. So when I cook (which is most of the time) I make a protein, always include a vegetable and some sort of carb. They love the carb and protein and barely touch the veggies, but I eat all the veggies I want! I have noticed (as in your situation) that they tend to try things that they normally wouldn't because it is there and they see me eating it and liking it. I have to get them to understand that veggie does not= gross......lol. Anyway enough ranting.......glad to have you back!
