Default Well, I'm here!

Hey everyone. My name is Kaiti, and I've decided, this is step one. Try to form some kind of support system.

I'm a happy person, just not happy with the way my body reflects the person i am on the inside.

So, help me stay away from those candy bars!

Have you decided on a plan yet?

I think i have a pretty good idea of what I'm going to do.

Within the week, i will have the flirty girl fitness dvds and Jillian Micheals 30 day shred. So i plan to stick it out with those, and drink more water, less soda. well preferably no soda.

But I don't know how well eating right will go, considering im not sure where to start on that boat!

That's a great workout plan.
You can browse different forums to learn about a ton of different eating plans. I ended up opting for weight watchers, and it has been great for me. I also think that calorie counting is a very sensible way to go about it.

You may find one of the other plans fits you best though.

The only thing about weight watchers, and other eating programs like that is right now the budget does not allow for it.

Hopefully i can find a simple eating plan because i don't want to have to spend a lot of time shopping for something i can't find, or preparing something for 30 mins that only i am going to eat.

But then again, if you want it , you have to compromise.

Calorie counting is free. The first couple weeks shopping takes a while because you have to read every label. But after a while you'll get in a grove and know exactly what to pick up.

Cooking can take a while, or you can pick easy recipes. There are a lot of quick recipes on this site. If you plan you can work out meals with leftovers too.

I remember once saying outloud to a friend, "I would give ANYTHING to have that girls body." and then I thought... well I guess not anything because I wont give up bad food, or make time to exercise. It seemed silly to me, so I got in gear. Even though I've only lost 20 pounds so far, all the grocery shopping, cooking and other things have been more than worth it.

Once you get going you'll do great MG!

Yea, im sure ill fall into the groove, or the groove will kick my a**! lol

20 lbs is NOTHING to scoff at! its a really big deal! I cant wait to say, i ve lost twenty lbs!! Maybe ill enjoy cooking more than i feel like i will.

But you know how it is whenever you feel like something you need to do, or have to go to seems like it will be so terrible and you just dred it, but then when you do it, it isnt half as bad as you thought.

What exercise plan do you follow?
What has worked the best for you?
