Hi, my name is April, and I am trying to get in shape in order to have a baby. DBF and I have been together for 3 years, and have decided to try for our first baby. I live in Northern Upstate, NY, and boy is it cold here. We both work full time, Monday thru Friday, and I have tons of time for exercise which I use whenever I can. usually TBL workouts 3-4 times a week. I really just need to work on my eating. Anyone else doing the same, or already done this? I've been a lurker for awhile now and can't wait to really join in the fun!

Hello there everybody. I am new on here and thought it would be just the support I needed to get me going. It is a little before Christmas and I am so sick of feeling the way I do about my body, that I am desperate to do something before the first of the year. I have the TJ 10 day kick start program that I am using to keep me on track for food. I just have trouble fitting in workouts and making them priority. Tommorrow is Dec 12 and I am officially starting. I will check in here everyday to keep ya posted. Anyone wanting to join....please do. Let's feel better for the new year!

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained! There's also info and first hand advice on different eating plans and exercise to help choose the right ones for you and get through the ups and downs.

There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here a few months myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.

So welcome - you 've found the right place - join in by inspiring us and being inspired!
