Red face Good afternoon to you all!!

Hey there!
I've been searching the internet for days looking for a forum site where I can find some support, help and ideas and I think i've come to the right place!

I'll start with a little introduction.

My name is Clare, i'm 26 years young and living in London (UK) with my Husband Lee.

I've lived in London for nearly 2 years now, moved down from Liverpool to be with the love of my life.

Since moving to London, i've slowly lost 2 stone without realising it.
This has spurred me on to do something properly.

I got married on the 5th September this year, and looking back on the pictures gives me mixed emotions of happiness and sadness that I hadn't lost the weight years ago.

I've always been a big girl. But more so over the past 4 years. And to be truthful with you I have had enough.

I've just joined Weight Watchers (at home), waiting for all my books to arrive. I'm really excited, and it feels like the first time in a while that I can honestly say I am determined to do it.

One more thing. Over the years I have really come to not like the word diet. It's so clinical! So I have decided I am on a "get fab" plan!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Clare x

Welcome, Clare! I agree with you about the word diet. Diets have never worked for me. I've decided that mentally I just can't get excited about any word that begins with "die".

Hi Clare!
Sounds like you're ready to get fab with a good plan and a can-do attitude - I think we all come here when we've had enough, too - good luck with your goals - we'll all be here to cheer you on!

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained! There's also info and first hand advice on different plans to help get you through the ups and downs.

There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here a few months myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.

So welcome - you 've found the right place - join in by inspiring us and being inspired!

Hello Heidi! It's nice to meet you too.
From your stats I can see that you are doing briliantly.
You haven't got far to go now.
What keeps you going? (if you don't mind me asking)
