I am from Los Angeles, currently living in Livermore (summer internship). Just wanted to introduced myself. Hoping to slowly loose the 30lbs that I gained over the past couple of years. My last attempt at it was last summer, but only resulted in losing about 5-7 lbs and gaining 10 back.. I am planning to take this more seriously this time by eating healthy and getting a new bike which will make me want to spend a lot of time excercising outdoors. I figured if I feel about the weightloss like a long-term on-going process I wouldn't be tempted to give everything up that quickly. Not sure about my current weight though, because I don't have access to scales right now.

i, too, just got my hands on a bike again for the first time in.. um... *thinks* 6 years? so my brother goes running while I go biking for a few miles =) i've already noticed an improvement on the scale and with my stamina.
