Hello..my name is Michelle..and Im new to this forum..I really want to lose weight...I am currently 275 lbs..but Im not really sure because I dont have a scale as of the moment...but hopefully tomorrow I will go out and buy one..I hope 2009 will be the year that I will lose the weight...my goal weight that I want to be is 185 lbs and i hope to reach that weight this year..well that is all for now...thanks for letting me introduce myself

Hey, I'm about 264 so not that far off from you. So you are from NC? I have a lot of family up there in Hickory, Lenoir and Salisbury areas. Anyway welcome to the site, hope you find a good group, there are plenty of them.
I have alot of family in Salisbury too. I was born there, but now live Monroe.

Greetings from Concord, NC. New to 3FC as well, and happy to have "stumbled" upon the site.
Still trying to get into the groove for 2009 and settle into a program. Currently reducing portion sizes and making better food choices. Slow progress, but in the "learning" stages on what program to actually go with. Have done WW and Somersize. Both had great results, in the past, but BIG expense. What's working for you girls?
I have been doing WW online for almost 2 weeks. Down 5 lbs the first week! I have had no problems staying within my points at all. Slowly getting exercise in daily and hoping it will work. I think I am also going to star writing down calories as well, just to see how it conincides with my points....
