Default Howdy All

Hi All,
I just wanted to start by saying that I think that is a great site for all of us who are wanting to lose weight and to have a place to go to and know that I am not the only one going through ****. This year I have said to myself that enough is enough to be overweight. I started at 300lbs and now down 10lbs. I know that I have a long, long ways to go but now that I have found this little gem, I know that I will get to my goal of 150lbs. Good luck to all. Have faith and courage cuz it will be a battle. So here is some to get us all through this.

WOW! Good job on being down 10 pounds! That is a great start.....

Just take it 5-10 pounds at a time and you will reach your goal!

Know that you will have set backs and down times....it is just a part of life as with anything else....just don't let them keep you down perminately.....

Getting a good support group on here will help with that! Try the "Chicks up for a Challenge" subforum....there are lots of fun and motivating little challenges and stuff to keep you on track!

Good luck!

I agree! The 10 lbs you have lost is a great start! I too am new here and am trying to learn all I can to help me as well. There is so much info here, and not enough time in the day to read it all! Good luck to you and keep in touch!

Default Thanks for the Welcome

Thank you Carolinagirl and Melissa for welcoming me. I know what you mean, Carolina, about not enough time in a day. I wish there was. Melissa, thanks for the info about the mini challeges. I am sure to check them out and even participate in a few. I'll keep all informed about my lost and gain. I had a set back recently but I just got back up and started again. That's all what we can do. Good luck to all. I'll be checking in and giving support whenever I can. Thanks to all.

I know, right. All I am thinking about is the next 10lbs. Not the 140 to go. This way I figure this will keep me focus until the next 10lbs. I know that this will be a struggle. If you want something badly, you first have to visualize it then you'll be able to reach it. I am visualizing myself 10 lbs lighter by March 10th . Good luck with your goal!!

Congrats on the 10 lbs! Surf around and settle in. We have lots of subforums based on age, eating plan, exercise and more. Check out the 100 lb Club and 300 lb Subforum for some of the best support on the web.
