Default Newbie

Hello everyone, I'm new...obviously.

My name is Olivia, and I am 19 years old. I've struggled with my weight since early childhood, and have made multiple attempts at getting down to a healthy size. I've made marginal progress in my eariler tries, only to get derailed by this or that and regain. This last year was the worst and I shot back up to my highest weight.

This is going to be my last attempt though, because I am going to reach my goal this time. So far I've lost 22lbs, 58 left till my goal weight. I might consider losing 10 or 15 more pounds once I reach my goal, but I wanna see how I feel at 150 first.

For my diet I'm counting calories, not really cutting out any certain foods, but limiting the sweets and trying to go for the healthy fulfilling stuff. As far as exercise I try to mix it up a bit. I really like Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds, and use them a lot, but sometimes try a different or more intense aerobics video(my library has a great selection of exercise vids.) I also do a lot of pilates and yoga workouts, and when the whether and schedule permit I enjoy going for a walk on the bike trail.

I'm a bit shy at times, but I really love to chat and make friends.

Wow...so that post came out longer then I meant it to. I guess I'm in a talky mood.

I love calorie counting and have found that it is a GREAT way to lose weight.
I like pilates and yoga and WATP DVDs too.

Sounds like you have a solid plan. Come back to 3FC often for support. Look around and see which forums fit. There is an active 20 somethings group, as well as a calorie counters forum.
