I am so happy I finally decided to join.
I have been lurking around here for a few months *thinking* about losing weight and never really committing to it.
I have struggled with weight all my life and I have been on every diet on the planet (or so it seems), obviously with not very good results.
A few months ago, I started a series of changes with my life. I quit my crappy job, took a career exploration program, decided to go back to school and discovered that my health has to be my priority. I also realized that I will probably not be as successful with the weight issue if I go at it all by myself (left to my own devices I do not make the smarter choices when it comes to food), I am better off when I have somebody telling me what I should eat every day, so I am on day 3 of the Nutrisystem program and feeling really good about it.
I know it's going to be a long hard road and that it's going to take a lot to stay focused and not fall off the wagon like all my previous attempts, but I am determined to make it this time. Thank you for having this amazing community that gives so much support.
Well, this is me and I can't wait to meet everyone else!

I love your username. Glad you stopped lurking and joined. It's a great place to help you achieve your goal. I have got a long way to go but I attest my weight loss to the motivation I got from this sight. I've got a ways to go but I know I can do it and so can you.
