Newcomer
Hi everyone, I'm new to the whole forum thing, so it's my first time attempting online support for dieting. I really only have about 20 pounds i'd really like to lose, but i want to do the best workouts and get really lean, toned muscle. i love cardio, but weights seem to have a better effect on toning my body. I'm about to embark on "Making the Cut" by Jillian Michaels, she says in the book you can lose 20 pounds in 30 days and get ripped if you follow the diet and workouts....which seem very hard. But i'm a little weary about how easy it's going to be at the YMCA doing this. If anyone is doing this program, or has done it, i would LOVE some advice, support. I also picked up a copy of "The Most Decadent Diet Ever" by the same author of "the biggest loser" cookbook...and let me tell you, these recipes are heavenly and keep you from craving bad food. Chocolate cake, fettucine, rigatone, bacon cheesburgers...it's all in there, and healthy. I cant wait to make them all!! It's the best Recipe book i've ever seen for diets...and i've made a lot of recipes.
