Default Time to get serious

I am new Been overweight basically my whole life and at almost thirty-ouch-seven I need to change. My boyfriend is a body builder and as much as one would think that would be helpful it isn't. I have a few friends that have decided they need to get into shape for the summer so I am joining them in this quest. I am 128kg and hoping to hit around 100 by july, 120 will be fine too. Heck anything that will have me healthier and thinner will be great.

hmmm that is all I think

Hi and welcome!

A weight lifter! That'd be strange to deal with. I assure you that there is middle ground.

Please make yourself at home here at 3FC and remember to just ask if there's anything you need.

Thanks!

yeah, it is a little weird. He is more of a power lifter so the first time I went to the gym with him I knew that working out with him wasn't going to be good. He was pushing me to lift more and more not realising that I am trying to get rid of the bulk not increase the bulk. He now goes to his gym with many of the Strong Man competitors and I go to my "fitness center" with the pretty machines and tanning beds

Men

You definitely need to start where you're at. I don't think you'll find many Strong Man competitors here at 3FC. But you'll probably enjoy our ladies who lift.

Welcome!
Yeah, it's difficult to find the perfect man with the same fitness goals as our own. I've given up on exercising with my wonderful husband.

Please keep posting... there's lots of great support here.
