Hi everyone! I'm Jewel from VA.

I randomly found this site through a Google search and I'm so grateful that I did! What a wonderful website with some awesome support.

As you can tell, I'm an overweight vegan on a path to a renewed me. As of this past Friday I've been following the Weight Watchers program. I had lost 50 lbs. in the past following the program, but have gained 25 of it back since going off of it. Oh the curse that comes with being a baking diva. lol Carbs and sweets are my weakness.

I recently discovered the miracle that is the Chia seed and have been eating it 3 times a day along with high quality supplements from the health food store. (Megafood, Udo's, and NewChapter are my favorites.) I'm pretty well versed in what true nutrition is but feel I need the support of others to stay on track.

Anyhow, I look forward to making some connections with you and sharing in your success.

Those trackers, as we call them, can only be used after being a member for 30 days, I believe. (I know... a bummer.) But when you're ready, they're under the User CP tab, if you click Edit Signature, you can read all about them there.

Best of luck to you! You can lose the weight & keep it off ^^

Ooh I know I love fitday! I had an account a long time ago that I used everyday.. I created a new one this morning to get myself back on track. It really does make monitoring your intake easy. =D
