Hi everyone,
I've been reading the posts for a couple of months, so I'm not exactly new here. Finally decided to get serious about my healthcare & loose some weight. I'm 52 years old, have 3 kids & 3 grandkids. Lost my husband to cancer almost 3 years ago, but he had been sick for a long time. I was his caregiver for many years and during that time, I put on about 60 pounds. Now I'm having some health concerns such as blood pressure & cholesterol. Also having back & knee problems. I know that just diet and exercise will help me to feel better and be healthier. Hi Nancy, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. But i'm glad that you have decided to focus on you and your health now. I am some of the same health concerns that you do, the high BP and the cholesterol. In addition, I have a bad back and the extra weight is not helping that either. I am dieting and my plan is to eat healthy, small portions. And to exercise every day, or at least 3 days a week.
